Welcome to the post-apocalypse community - your place to discuss post-apocalyptic movies, TV shows, books, comics, short stories, etc ... .

To start us off, how about the following question: What post-apocalyptic book have you read/movie have you seen/... recently?

Me, I've just finished re-re-re-reading Margaret Atwood's Oryx & Crake, and I am still very fond of it and can recommend it as a good PA book.

Right now I'm in love with The Walking Dead comic. Oops granted it's not a book.

SO, I recently tried reading S.M Sterling's Emberverse Series. The first book was good but it really just went down hill after that. Which really disappointed me since I really loved that first book.

I've started the second Emberverse three times and each time I fail desperately at getting by. I'm disappointed to hear that the rest are rubbish.

It started off so wonderfully then in the second book, it just gets WEIRD and bad!ficy. I gave up half way through and ended up reading the whole summery on wiki, oddly? It gets WORSE.
